Shah Rukh plays ghost

Shah Rukh Khan played a double role in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Duplicate’. But what he is going to play in Amol Palekar’s directorial venture is totally different.

Palekar’s forthcoming film, which is also produced by SRK, stars Rani Mukherjee in the female lead role.

The film has one SRK has Rani’s husband and the other SRK as a ghost. And SRK himself doesn’t have any qualms about playing a ghost, because in his own words, ‘it is a very sweet story.’

Even though SRK’s last release Swades hasn’t done very well at the box-office, he is getting praise not only for his performance but also for going beyond his image and Palekar’s film will give him another chance to do the same.

SRK’s closest encounter with a ghost was in Chamatkaar in which Nasseeruddin Shah played a ghost and he himself a simpleton.
