Eastwood nominated by The Directors Guild of America
This year Clint Eastwood has been nominated by The Directors Guild of America to win the Oscar for directing the boxing drama “Million Dollar Baby”. The Directors Guild of America are known for predicting the Oscars (In the 56-year history, this award has become one of Hollywood’s most accurate forecasts for the Oscars.) There have only been six exceptions when the outcome they predicted was false.
Clint Eastwood has so far already won two Oscars: as director and as producer of “Unforgiven” (1992). This nomination by The Directors Guild of America has put him in a very sweet spot for his third Oscar.
