Tsunami Relief benefit a sucess

The Tsunami Relief benefit was a huge success as it was sold out and a crowd of 18 thousand people piled into the Vancouver’s GM Place.

The show featured such Canadian superstars as Avril Lavigne, Sarah McLachlan, Barenaked Ladies, Delirium, Chantal Kreviazuk, Raine Maida and Sum 41. This was further complimented with a surprise guest Robin Williams, who introduced Barenaked Ladies.

CBC television comedian Rick Mercer says the event has shown the world how generous Canadians are.
