Vipul Shah directs Waqt after Aankhen

Vipul (Aankhen) Shah has come a long way. From directing modest theater shows to making a big screen debut with Amitabh-Sushmita-Akshay-Arjun-Paresh starrer Aankhen, which went on to do a modest business and steal rave reviews from viewers and critics.

Two years later, the man is now directing Waqt - Race against Time. This emotional drama stars his favorites, Big B and Akshay Kumar and wife Shefali Chaya.

Unlike Aankhen Waqt is an emotional film with Amitabh-Akshay Kumar playing father and son again. Priyanka Chopra steps in as Akshay Kumar’s wife and Shefali Chaya who plays Amitabh’s wife plays characters with shades of grey.

Based on Aatish Kapadia’s play Vipul claims that Waqt - Race Against Time is complete parallel to Aankhen.

Akshay Kumar has performed tandav dance in Waqt - Race Against Time. Well we all know that Akki is a flexible dancer but this time it will be interesting to watch him in a new dance mode.

The film also starts Paresh Rawal. The music of the film is given by Anu Malik.
