Audio: T-Series
Rating: 2
1) Beerang Zindagi - 4:42 (Sukhwinder Singh and Gayatri Iyer) A high voltage number Beerang Zindagi is sung with an added force by Sukhwinder Singh and Gayatri Iyer, it makes for a good stage number.
2) Ishq Da Tadka - 5:04 (Adnan Sami and Sonu Kakkar) Ishq Da Tadka retains the listeners mood. A equally electrifying number like ‘Beerang ZIndagi’ this song is sung by Adnam Sami and Sonu Kakkar. Lyrics by Nitin Raikwar and music by Amar Mohile the song is another stage dance number.
3) Awara Mann - 3:07 (Shweta Pandit) sung by Shweta Pandit and is a solo melodious track composed by Amar Mohile and written by Nitin Raikwar. Shweta’s vocal is entertaining but Amar’s music follows the previous tracks. But his touch of ’shankh’ sound makes this solo track somewhat emotional.
4) Rakht Ka Hai - 6:12 (Makrand Deshpande) Makrand Deshpande sings and writes this track, “Rakht Ka Hai”. Neither does his singing nor his writing attract. Shailendra Swapnil poorly composes this song. The outcome of this number is devastating.
5) Rakht Ka Hai - 5:38 (Kunal Ganjawala and Shweta Pandit) “Rakht Ka Hai” appears once again on the album but this time in a duet by Kunal Ganjawala and Shweta Pandit. Both the vocalists do not catch the rhythm appropriately. The lyrics and music disappoint as well. This version too falls flat like the earlier song.
6) Bandhane Lagi - 4:50 (Shweta Pandit and Sujit Kumar) ‘Bandhane Lagi ‘ in the voice of Shweta Pandit with new comer Sujit Kumar. A smoothly moving track written by Jaideep Sahni creates a soothing effect in the hearts of the listeners. Amar Mohile’s music matches well in this duet while Shweta Pandit makes a mark once again after ‘Aawara Maan’.
7) Sare Sare - 3:01 (Kunal Ganjawala) ‘Sara Sara’ to follow next is a situational number written by Tabbish Romani in the voice of Kunal gunjanwala. This is a solo track with chorus. Kunal has come out well here with a pleasant vocal while the chorus adds a vibrating flow to this track. This is one more foot-tapping track but not as appealing as ‘Ishq Da Tadka’.
8) Naach Naach Ke - 4:50 (Shweta Pandit) The real title track comes in the last as ‘ Naach Naach Ke ‘ by Shweta Pandit that is composed by Shailendra Swapnil and written by Tabbish Romani. In this number lyricist Shailendra has tried to put all the musical essence of the film. The music has been given a western treat providing one more platform for dance.
Naach music is different fro other songs we get today and probably that was the intention of Ram Gopal Verma. But being different doesn’t means the songs are good. Infact the songs of Naach someone don’t touch the soul of the listener.
Bottom Line
Naach is no Rangeela. Passable.
