Pierce Brosnan: Bond no more

Pierce Brosnan has confirmed that he will not play James Bond again, accusing producers of the famous movie franchise of going back on their offer for him to return. Brosnan said he agreed to film a fifth but filmmakers changed their mind.

Hollywood rumours say that Brosnan priced himself out of the role by asking for too much money.

Pierce was quoted saying, “I would not like anyone else to be Bond. I would like them to stop there and never do another one.” However, on a more serious note, Brosnan admitted that playing Bond was a career-fulfilling experience. Brosnan says he felt relieved when he was told. I thought they did me a favor, really, he said Leave while you’re on top.

Actors Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor have been named as his possible replacements.
