Naach Movie

Those who saw Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Naach’ at the newly opened Inox in South Mumbai tell us that the movie was sluggish and esoteric but extremely different and stylish.

The film looks at the two protagonists’ opposite approaches to gaining stardom in Bollywood. While Abhi plays a struggling actor, Rewa is an upcoming choreographer. Both Abhishek Bachchan and Antara Mali have put in competent performances. Antara, especially, is looking ravishing in the song sequences. And no, she’s not imitating Urmila!

With Abhishek and Antara not showing up for the special show of ‘Naach’ at Inox, Ritesh Deshmukh was the center of attraction. His mother and brothers, Amit and Dheeraj, accompanied him. Ram Gopal Varma made a hasty entry and exit, as he wasn’t feeling well. Ritesh has a supporting role in ‘Naach’. He plays the director who invests faith in Rewa’s (Antara) unconventional choreography and gives her a break!
