Shoaib rejects offer to star in Mahesh Bhatt film

Mahesh Bhatt has been looking for an actor to play the role of Ganglord in his next film ‘Gangster’ after Sanjay Dutt backed out citing date problems.

Then Pakistani actress Meera suggested the name of Shoaib Akthar and Mahesh jumped at the idea.

Meera even placed a call to Shoaib on behalf of her good friend Mahesh Bhatt. But Shoaib is said to have rejected the offer saying that his first love was cricket and his fans wanted to see him as a cricket star, not a movie star!

“I love cricket and want to concentrate on it. I have absolutely no intention of featuring in films. I want to fully concentrate on my cricket which is my bread and butter,” he says.
