Ram Gopal Verma’s Expert Comments on Veer Zaara

Ram Gopal Varma has his own views about ‘Veer-Zaara’. His take on ‘Veer-Zaara’ which released last Friday along with Ramu’s ‘Naach’, is that Yash Chopra may have made a mistake. Instead of sticking to a candyfloss crowd-puller, he picked an epic that might have been better suited to a technophile like Sanjay Leela.

However, the paying audience has a different view as the collections of ‘Veer-Zaara’ are increasing with each passing day and the outcome for ‘Veer-Zaara’ as well as for ‘Naach’ will be loud clear on Saturday, once the collections are out.

The opening collections show that Veer Zaara has got tremendous opening throughout India. Three other films that released with Veer Zaara, namely: Naach, Aitraaz and Mughal-e-Azam. Veer Zaara is far ahead of all the movies in terms of collections. There is a tough race for the second spot between Mughal-e-Azam and Aitraaz. Naach future is bleak and that is a sign for Abhishek Bachchan to worry about.
