Director: Rituparno Ghosh
Music: Debojyoti Mishra
Lyrics: Rituparno Ghosh
Rating: 2.5/5

Rituparno Ghosh maybe unknown by audience of Bollywood movie but he is a very popular name on bengali film circuit. So much so that Aishwarya went to do Choker Bali with him and that too in Bengali language. The movie didn’t worked too well but Aishwarya and Rituparno developed an excillent rapport at work. So when Rituparno decided to make his first hindi movie he choose Aishwarya and Ajay Devgan. He chose Debojyoti Mishra to do the music. The vocals are done by Shubha Mudgal and Hariharan.

Music Review
Mathura Nagarpati- 6:32 (Shubha Mudgal) Shubha Mudgal’s a good singer and though she needs to prove her alent ‘Mathura Nagarpati’ is ample display of her talent. The song to praise Lord Krishna. Its a nice soothing number.

Piya Tora Kaisa Abhimaan - 5:45 (Hariharan)Another song with classic base, Piya Tora .. appears twice in the album. The first version is sung by ‘Hariharan’. The song is for people who enjoy slow songs in a quiet envoirment. Hariharan weaves a sweet magin in the song.

Is Aitraaz based on Disclosure

Is Aitraaz based on Disclosure?

Aitraaz is the new thriller from the stables of Abbas-Mustan. The director due have given us hits like Baazigar, Khilaadi etc. It’s no hidden fact that they lift the subject of several Hollywood flicks to make their film. But that works for Bollywood. Everyone lifts themes. What’s special about this duo is that they know how to blend the Hollywood theme into a pot-puri that works for Indians.

So, people won’t be surprised if told that Aitraaz is a rip-off or inspired by ‘Disclosure’.

‘Disclosure’ is a film starring ‘Michael Douglas’ and ‘Demi Moore’ was based on sexual harassment in office, but here it is the man who is harassed by his new female boss. A high-flying executive, Meredith (Demi Moore), is out to ruin her former lover Tom (Douglas), who she’s just beaten to the top job in an electronics company, using every trick in the book.

Naach Music Review

Naach Music Review

Music: Amar Mohile and Shailendra Swapnil
Producer: Ram Gopal Verma Productions
Singers: Sukhwinder Singh, Gayatri Iyer, Adnan Sami, Sonu Kakkar, Shweta Pandit, Makrand Deshpande, Kunal Ganjawala and Sujit Kumar
Audio: T-Series
Rating: 2

1) Beerang Zindagi - 4:42 (Sukhwinder Singh and Gayatri Iyer) A high voltage number Beerang Zindagi is sung with an added force by Sukhwinder Singh and Gayatri Iyer, it makes for a good stage number.

2) Ishq Da Tadka - 5:04 (Adnan Sami and Sonu Kakkar) Ishq Da Tadka retains the listeners mood. A equally electrifying number like ‘Beerang ZIndagi’ this song is sung by Adnam Sami and Sonu Kakkar. Lyrics by Nitin Raikwar and music by Amar Mohile the song is another stage dance number.

3) Awara Mann - 3:07 (Shweta Pandit) sung by Shweta Pandit and is a solo melodious track composed by Amar Mohile and written by Nitin Raikwar. Shweta’s vocal is entertaining but Amar’s music follows the previous tracks. But his touch of ’shankh’ sound makes this solo track somewhat emotional.

4) Rakht Ka Hai - 6:12 (Makrand Deshpande) Makrand Deshpande sings and writes this track, “Rakht Ka Hai”. Neither does his singing nor his writing attract. Shailendra Swapnil poorly composes this song. The outcome of this number is devastating.
