Adnam Sani new Music Video has Bhoomika Chawla

Adnam Sami is among the most popular singer in Indian pop scene. He also has woked with most of the popular actresses. Not in movies, but in his musi videos.

Reports are that Adnam has casted Bhoomika Chawla in his new music video. The new music video will be out soon. Adnam used Aditi Gowitrikar in his first music video and then made it a trend. Since then he has used Amisha Patel, Amrita Rao, Rani Mukherjee, Raveena Tandon, Namrata Shirodkar, Mahima Chaudhary etc in his music videos.

Call it belief or style but casting popular actresses in his videos has worked magic for both Adnam and the actresses’ careers. Last time Adnam worked with Amisha and she got a few movie offers after producers watched that video.

Bhoomika Chawla has had moderate success in south but this Delhi girl is still trying to establish herself when it comes to Bollywood. Her last few films Dil Ne Jisay Apna Kaha with Salman Khan and Run with Abhishek were complete wash out. Let’s see if the Adnam’s music video works for her career or not.

Shah Rukh Khan celebrates the sucess of Main Hoon Naa in style

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated the sucess of Main Hoon Naa with close friends and director cum friend Farha Khan at Hyatt, Mumbai. No, press was not informed or invited. The entire affair was quiet Hush Hush affair.

The occassion was offcourse the roaring sucess of Shah Rukh’s home production ‘Main Hoon Naa’. The entire star cast of ‘Main Hoon Naa’ - Sushmita, Boman Irani, Amrita Rao, Rakhi Sawant, Satish Shah etc were present at the occassion.

Shahrukh recently decided to give Diwali bonus to his entire staff including the film crew of ‘Main Hoon Naa’ and people who were associated with the movie.

Indiana Jones on Zee ZMZ

We reported this way back in August when the promos started to appear on the Zee’s range of television channels. And after a frustrating 2 months, the dates are finally out. The Indiana Jones trilogy would be telecasted every Sundays starting from Nov 14 at 8pm on Zee ZMZ.

The strange thing is that in these 2 months, they managed to change their channel name and discontinued their partnership with MGM group. Indiana Jones is one of the few legendary movie series yet to be telecasted on Indian television. We have had everything ranging from Rambo to Rocky, Die Hard to Jurassic Park and of course The Star Wars and James Bond.

Being a big Harrison Ford fan, I cannot wait to see these movies yet again. Although, I must admit I found ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ somewhat offensive! Other movies in the series are Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Aamir Khan’s Titan Ad is out on TV

As reported earlier, Titan got hold of the very exclusive Aamir Khan to be their brand ambassador. And today I saw the first of the hopefully many excellent television advertisements. As expected, Aamir did a great job and you just cannot stop bringing a smile to your face watching him in the ad.

I missed the initial part of the advertisement but it goes something like this. Aamir is packing to leave for somewhere. His assistant brings his collection of watches to ask which ones he should take out for his trip. Aamir Khan starts to match the watches he likes for each of his suits. Later on he end up adding more suits to his baggage to accommodate more watches he like and finally end up selecting all his suits and all his watches to go with him on his trip!

Viewers would also get to see the new look of Aamir from his upcoming film ‘The Rising’ with long hair and old-fashioned moustache. Gotta admit, when it comes to style… Aamir beats everyone in the Indian film industry. For Titan, it is a great catch.

1. Tere Liye (5.34) is the title track of the movie, wonderfully sung by Lata and Roop Kumar Rathod. It’s a soulful melody which would be loved by everyone. The song captures the pain the lovers go through. It’s not an emotional song; it gives hope to broken hearts. The hope that one day the ordeal would end and they will get their loved once. A match winner.

Aamir Khan busy with Post Production of Mangal Pandey

Aamir who is busy these days in post production of epic Mangal Pande based on the 1857 mutiny against Britisher’s in India took some time out to watch Mahesh Dattani’s new movie - Moring Raga, starring Shabana Azmi.

When asked about the status of the movie Mangal Pandey, Aamir said that the post production work for the movie is going on and he has to keep the getup (moustache and long hair) for another month.

Aamir also stated that he will start the shooting of his next movie ‘Rang De Basanti’ in January 2005.

Sambandh - The Relation has 30 kisses

Film Industry of late has become a derby of the sorts with newcomers trying to do everything to grab attentions. Lots of money is at stake and with big movies stumbling and stars carisma failing to pull in audience to the cinema halls, its sex that’s ruling the roost.

Mallika Sherawat started the number game by giving 17 smooches in 150 minutes of ‘Khwahish’. It became a benchmark of a sort. Now it seems its set to be broken. Newcomer Tanisha Singh shares some sizzling scenes and kisses with her co-star in Sambandh - The Relation.

The movie is a thriller, but reportedly has 30 smooches and and love-making scenes. Directed by Kesar Matharu, the film also stars Sardar Sohi and Anjali Singh. The promos of the film are already on air.
