Britney’s New Tattoo
Britney Spears has acquired a new tattoo of a pink dice on her left wrist.
The singer told IMDB.com: “I have pink dice on my left wrist. It’s something me and my husband did together. He has blue dice, I have pink dice.”
Other than this tattoo she also has a Hebrew symbol for power of healing on the back of her neck below her hairline. This represents her interest in the religion of Kabbalah. (more…)

The Musical Donald Trump
If real-estate mogul turned reality-TV star Donald Trump has his way, his tube sensation may soon hit the Great White Way as The Apprentice: The Musical.
No, really.
“There’s tremendous buzz about it on the Broadway circuit. Every producer on Broadway wants to get involved with us. I think The Apprentice on Broadway would be a smash,” said Trump, in his typical understated fashion.
Details on the proposed theatrical extravaganza, a coproduction between Trump and Apprentice creator Mark Burnett, are sketchy. Burnett describes the plot as an inspirational love story and Trump confirms it will feature a character based on him, that it won’t simply be a rehash of a TV episode and that the leading man will be a hottie. Lindsay’s Parents Split
Lindsay Lohan’s parents are calling it quits.
After being on the outs with her husband Michael Lohan for months, Dina Lohan finally filed for divorce this week, following Michael’s release from court-ordered rehab, Lindsay’s rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick, confirmed to E!
The former Rockette, who helps manage her daughter’s career, cited “cruel and inhuman treatment” and “adultery” as reasons for the split. (more…)

Hollywood is betting three films and one actor will dominate when the movie industry rises at dawn Tuesday to discover the players nominated to take the field in the 2005 battle for the Oscars (news - web sites).
In an annual ritual that has the media hordes descending bleary-eyed on the headquarters of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (news - web sites), the names of the nominees are read out for television cameras at 5:30 a.m. local time so the news can catch commuters on the way out the door on the East Coast, where it is three hours later.

Producers Guild Names The Aviator Best Film
The Producers Guild of America, often an important barometer of Oscar sentiment, on Saturday night named “The Aviator,” director Martin Scorsese’s film biography of billionaire Howard Hughes, best film of 2004.
In 11 of the past 15 years, the Producers Guild has honored films that went on to win the best picture Oscar — including “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” last year.
The producers are the first of three craft guilds to name their best picture for the year prior to the Oscars (news - web sites) on Feb. 27. Next Saturday night, the Directors’ Guild will select its best film and then on Feb. 5, the Screen Actors Guild (news - web sites) will do the same. (more…)

Apple i-Tunes Sells 250 Million Songs
Now selling at a rate of more than a million downloads per day, Apple Computer Inc. said Monday customers have purchased a total more than 250 million songs from its online iTunes Music Store.
The store, now available in 15 countries, is selling 1.25 million songs per day, which puts the annual run rate of almost half a billion songs per year, Apple said.
Apple helped invigorate the market for legal music downloads when it launched the iTunes store in April 2003, but its robust sales continues to far outpace rival services. (more…)
