It is said that Aamir asked Rakeysh Mehra to cut his role short in Rang De Basanti. Maybe after Akshay Kumar its Aamir turn to become an editor.

But jokes apart, Aamir did this so that others in the cast get more scope for showing their acting. Even viewers have appreciated this that along with Aamir they get to see the talent of others in the movie.

A few days ago their were talks that never paired on screen - ex couple Rajesh Khanna and Dimple Kapadia - has finally agreed to work together in a film called ‘Door Bahut Door Saat Samundar Ke Paar’ but the unattainable is still not happening.

Dimple has revealed she will not be working in the project as she didn’t like her character in the film. Dimple was to be paired romantically opposite Rajesh.

Then, Rajesh Khanna had confirmed, “Yes, I am doing this film with Dimple”. Many filmmakers have tried to pair him with his ex-wife in films but somehow it never happened.

Aishwarya Rai, who plays a courtesan in J.P. Dutta’s Umrao Jaan, would mersemerize the viewers with her charm. Aishwarya has eternal beauty about her and she has already shown what a skilled dancer she (Kajra Re song).

People will see her reverberating the glimmering City Palace in the stillness of the night, on Alka Yagnik’s mujra song before Abhishek Bachchan (playing Nawab Sultan).

Umrao Jaan is J. P. Dutta’s adaptation of the Urdu novel “Umrao Jan Ada” by Mirza Haadi Ruswa. It is a tale during the Indo-Pak partition days about a young girl Ameeran (later Umrao), abducted from her family home and thrown into the world of kothas of Lucknow.

After actress Priyanka Chopra graced the cover of the first Indian edition of the men’s magazine Maxim, its now hot babe Kareena Kapoor for Maxim’s February issue. Cover girl Kareena will feature along with a tagline - Eye-frying pics: More Kareena - Less Clothes.

Maxim that just embroiled itself in actress Khushboo controversy is stepping its foot very carefully now as on the covers Kapoor displays only an inch of midriff. Inside, pictures show her draped across a sofa, wearing a sensible T-shirt and a skirt which is only a tiny bit short.

Actress Amisha Patel will soon join the big cast of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd’ which already stars actors like Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol, Minissha Lamba, Kay Kay Menon, Karan Khanna, Ranveer Shourie, Sandhya Mridul and Boman Irani.

The film will be produced by Farhan Akhtar with Ritesh Sidhwani (Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya, Don) and will be directed by Farhan’s assistant Reema Kagti. When Amisha read the script, she absolutely loved it and decided to go ahead with the project.

After the super success of Andaaz and interval of two years writer director Raj Kanwar is back with a bang with his next offering ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ which stars a fresh pair of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif for the first time.
