Satish Kaushik has paired Tusshar Kapoor and Ayesha Takia for the first time in his next film titled ‘Kya Love Story Hai’. The project will be produced by Balaji Telefilms and scripted by Anuj Kapoor.

Satish Kaushik’s ‘Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai’ was the debut vehicle of Tusshar in Bollywood and Ayesha Takia has already worked with Kaushik in Subhash Ghai’s ‘Shaadi Se Pehle’. Kaushik said, “Ayesha is a very sweet girl and will go very far, mark my words. Having worked with her in Shaadi Se Pehle, I have a very comfortable equation with her. Plus, she fitted the role perfectly.”

Tusshar is excited about working with Kaushik once again and when asked about working with Ayesha Takia, he replies, “I am excited about working with Ayesha as she is one of the few actresses who look younger than me.” (more…)

Director Kalpana Lajmi is very upset with the kind of collections her latest film Chingari had at the box-office. She had thought the multiplexes would help the film commercially but it has turned out to be the other way round. Also, those who have seen the movie have praised the work of three leads of the film Sushmita Sen, Mithun and Anuj but are disappointed with Kalpana’s direction skills.

So now, Kalpana is now trying to put the burden of failure on Mithun Chakraborty and Anuj Sawhney. She revealed that she had a tough time shooting with them. (more…)

Actress Manisha Koirala residence, Koirala’s Beachwood Tower is packed with security police these days following a media report claiming she had named her pet dog after a revered Muslim figure. It is feared that Muslim fundamentalists might attack her residence and her pets.

Manisha Koirala is very upset by the rumor as she says she has no pet dog let alone naming him after a Muslim figure. She calls it a trivial story and a mistake on the part of a newspaper.

She said she love and respects every community and religion and can’t even think of disrespecting other person’s religion or culture, “I’m a Hindu and a Nepali by birth. But I’m as Indian as anyone else in this country. I believe in all the secular values that Indian democracy is famous for. I’d never call my dog Mustafa” (more…)

After two months and 20 days of rest after his surgery Amitabh Bachchan has resumed working again. He started work by singing a song for music director Aadesh Shrivastava for Ravi Chopra’s film, Baabul. We wish this singing start go well for him.

With the news Bollywood is buzzing with delight and work has started to pile in front of him. Soon Amitabh will start dubbing for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya, the project which has been delayed a month. Then he has plans for some more singing!

The song will feature both Amitabh and Abhishek and has music by Vishal-Shekhar (I think they are looking for another Kajra Re). Rohan Sippy is producing the song for a private Album. (more…)

‘Gadar’ hero was suppose to shoot for 35-40 days in Afghanistan for Ammtoje Mann’s ‘Kaafila’ but fearing security problems he revealed his unwillingness to shoot their. So the director shot all the scenes in Ladakh as the place looks very similar to Afghanistan in backdrop and ambience.

We can’t help but compare Sunny with John. The latter took the ultimate risk of his life shooting for Kabir Khan’s ‘Kabul Express’ that is entirely shot in Afghanistan capital, Kabul. (more…)

Comic star Rajpal Yadav is no less than any other Bollywood star. And like other stars singing their heart out for promotion of their films, Rajpal also will be seen doing the same on screen in the film ‘Ladies Tailor’ which is already creating buzz because of Rajpal’s comic act on fashion designer Manish Malhotra.

Rajpal is currently working his vocals for the peppy song ‘Na Disturb karo, Mahmaan bhai so rila hai’ (don’t disturb, guest is sleeping). According to Rajpal the song will ignite the comic mood in the film.

Sanju Dutt and Arshad Warsi known for perfect comic jodi in Munnabhai MBBS are up for more fun together again in ‘Anthony Kaun Hai’ to be produced by Nikhil Panchamiya who gave earlier ‘Dil Maange More’.

The movie will be shot in a 45-day schedule starting February 17, 2006 on Krabi beach in Thailand, Bangkok and Panchamiya’s good friend Raj Kaushal will direct it. The film is a comedy thriller based in Thailand.

Apart form Sanju baba and Arshad the movie will also feature Minissha Lamba, Anuradha Dandekar, Gulshan Grover and Raghuveer Yadav. Shoumik Sen has written the script of the film. Himesh Reshmmiya will compose the music and Hemant Chaturvedi will be doing the cinematography of the film.
