The veteran singer, Lata Mangeshkar turned 79 on September 28 and the audience wishes Happy Birthday to her and expects her to live for 1000’s of years and every year to have more than 50000 of days as said in the Hindi song Tum Jeeyo Hazaaron Saal, Saal Ke Din ho Pachaas Hazaar.

Lata Mangeshkar has the golden voice that brings salvation to man who hears it. Is Laaga Chunari Mein Daag a remake?

There are rumors that the movie Laaga Chunari Mein Daag is a remake of movie from 1970’s. There has been no such mention from the makers of the movie, so is it just a gossip by media? The year 2007 has seen many remakes of the movie released in the year 1970’s like RGV Ki Aag and Victoria No. 203. Not only the remakes the dressing up and the touch of 70’s is also found in the movie by Farah Khan Om Shanti Om.

The year 2007 has also seen that the remakes are getting flopped. Both the movie RGV Ki Aag and Victoria No. 203 have been registered into be the flop list of the year 2007.

They said all of us; Sanjay Dutt and we sisters contributed to the book story that has the experiences and memories of our parents.

Russians to view Bollywood movies again

The India TV channel has been launched in Russia to enable viewers to see the Bollywood movies. There are around 5.5 million viewers in Russia and it is expected that the number will grow to 50 million in a few months of launch of the channel.

In the soviet era the movies like Awara, Bobby, Disco Dancer and Sita aur Gita was able to draw 40 to 63 million viewers to theatres in Russia.

Mumbai Salsa gets tough for Indraneil Sengupta

Indraneil Sengupta will be performing in the movie Mumbai Salsa by Vikram Bhatt but the director is facing problems as the non dancer actor in the movie needs to get a training for a month to finally learn Salsa dance and the dance sequence in the movie will last for 2 and a half minutes. Indraneil Sengupta is playing a merchant banker in the movie.
