Music Review: One Fine Monday

After the movie Munnabhai MBBS was released, the Bollywood movie makers have picked up to depict a don with a difference in their movies to make the movie a success. The movie One Fine Monday will show Shekhar Suman performing an underworld don who one day decides to change his image and to leave his criminal ways. The movie is a low budget one and a young music composer Siddarth Srivastav has taken up the job of composing music for the movie.
The movie is a comedy one and not all the comedy movies have good music and this album can also be termed to be an average one though the actor in the movie Shekahr Suman who earlier tried his voice by releasing his music albums is also singing a song for the movie.
“Shyam Diya”–The song has the voice of the lead actor of the movie Shekhar Suman who tries to sing it out like Amitabh Bachchan Don “Main Hoon Don” and he couldn’t make an impact.
“Dabi Aag” –The Arab kind of stuff can be looked in the song “Dabi Aag” that has been sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, who is quiet successful with her voice and the song also has a catchy music.
“Dabi Aag” (Club Remix version) –The remix version of the song “Dabi Aag” has a set of too many sounds and beatings but is average.
“Sab Ganya” –This is song is as if underworld men are talking to each other with some music attached to it and having lyrics to match it. The composer of the song Siddarth Srivastav turns singer for this song.
“Ram Rang Le” – The song is sung by Vinod Rathod and Pt. Madhukar Chobe and the effect is visible as the music of the song is best of the album. The presence of classical singers can not be predicted for classical music as the song also has a kind of western touch.
“Ram Rang Le” (Remix version) –The remix version of the song gets less effective amnd immaturish.
“Deewana Dil” –This one is a romantic song sung by Richa Sharma and Abhijeet and the two talented singers of the Bollywood couldn’t make the needed impact.
Though there are many elements attached to the album that could make it a success but the songs are not touchy emotional or have a good music. The Sunidhi Chauhan song “Dabi Aag” is best of all. The composer is almost unsuccessful in making a good album.
