Amitabh says “NO” to another RGV’s remake of “Sholay”

Amitabh Bachchan had been criticized by many for appearing in the role of Gabbar in the movie RGV‘s Aag. Anuraag Basu even said that he should retire if he opts to do such roles and learning from his mistakes Amitabh refused to be part of another remake of Sholay that was announced by Ram Gopal Verma.

“Kaagaz Ke Phool” in Bengali

The legendary director and actor, Guru Dutt’s movie “Kaagaz Ke Phool” that was released in the 50’s decade, will be remade in Bengali. The Bangla director Rituporno Ghosh had been planning to make a remake of the movie in Hindi but he did not succeed in doing so and the final one will be in language Bengali.

Hrithik contract with Ad labs ends

The contract of Rs 36 crore of the company Ad labs with Hrithik Roshan ended and Hrithik paid back the contract money given to him to the company. Hrithik has singed the deal with the company for three movies but the company is insisting that he will be paid the same amount of money for doing just one movie with the company.

Suresh Oberoi father of Vivek Oberoi had been managing the movies and contracts of his son but the father and son have separated and a management company has been given to handle the professional contracts of the actor. Suresh said this will relieve him to allow him pay more attention to his own life.

Health ministers suggests actors to stay away from alcohol on screen

After accusing the actors for spreading the ill-effects of cigarette on screen by depicting it, the central health minister of India Mr. Ramadoss said that the actors should not drink on screen as the youth get inspired from the actors and they adopt dangerous habits of drinking alcohol and having cigarettes.
