“Race” leads the race of films on box-office in the first half year

After six months of the year 2008, bollywood scenario looks dim at the collections office. In the six months many movies have been released and exceptionally high number of debutants entered bollywood but surprisingly only a 3- 4 movies could get above average collections and were declared to be hit movies. The increasing price of consumer goods in market has raised concerns amongst the audience to cut expenses in getting entertained and the movies that got released were low in appeal and low in substance, to get a high sale of tickets.

The film “Zindagi Tere Naam “will bring the 80’s pair Mithun Chakraborty and Ranjeeta in lead roles. Both the actors are veteran and the subject of the film will match the maturity of the lead actors. The music of the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. The film is a low profile, low budget entertainer.

‘Tu Mujhe Soch Kabhi’ – The movie is expected to have a emotional script and the songs has been made to match the theme. The song ‘Tu Mujhe Soch Kabhi’ has been sung by KK and the lyrics of the song has been written by Jalees Sherwani. The song has been made into a Ghazal.

Music release of “Singhh Is King” held in Mumbai

The music of the film “Singhh Is King” was launched in Mumbai in the presence of bollywood actors, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif .The film “Singhh Is King” was mostly shot in Australia close to the Gold Coast region and at Brisbane. The film is scheduled to be released on August 8, 2008.

“Wanted dead and Alive” to be grand film

Boney Kapoor is making huge expenditure on his upcoming film “Wanted Dead or Alive “ and the it was said that for a song Boney made an expense of Rs 95 lakhs. Nitin Desai shot the dance with Salman Khan and 200 dancers at the grand sets of ND Studio where 600 junior artists were also called to the studios.

Anil Kapoor blissful to be with parents!

Anil Kapoor’s parents were staying with movie maker Boney Kapoor and his wife Sri Devi at their bungalow but recently the house lease term ended and Boney Kapoor’s parents opted to stay with their second son, Anil Kapoor until Boney arranges another house for them. Currently Boney is staying in a small apartment owned by Sridevi where his parents couldn’t be accommodated.
