Paheli to release around May end

Shah Rukh Khan’s home production ‘Paheli’, directed by Amol Palekar, is set in the 16th century. It is likely to make the audience feel transported back to the ancient times for sure. Those who were witness to the films shooting on the set of a ‘haveli’ at Film City, were just mesmerised by the ambience.

The set was bathed in skin shade and the set had those ancient kind of lanterns at every nook and corner. It seemed that the set was lit only by such vintage lamps. So ethereal. One just marvelled at cinematographer Ravi. K Chandran’s esoteric sense of lighting. For everyone present, it was a ‘Paheli’ of how such a magical ambience could be created.

The entire shooting of the film will conclude on April 4th and the film will be released on 31st May or 1st week of June.
