Pierce Brosnan in India

Pierce Brosnan may have surrendered the License to Kill (he is ex-James Bond now) but he still makes news every time he is spotted.

And India was the chosen location this time.

Pierce Brosnan was in India to launch of the latest collection of watches of Swiss major ‘Omega’ named - The Constellation Double Eagle.

The evening reached a highpoint when the Omega Brand Ambassador, Pierce Brosnan felicitated the International Indian Film Academy for its success in promoting Indian cinema across the globe. Mr. Brosnan presented Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan a cheque of Rs. 25 lakhs for the IIFA Charity Foundation, which looks after the needs of film industry workers.

Pierce Brosnan made it a point to remind everyone that he had first come to the country nearly 15 years back to shoot for a movie by Ismail Merchant and said he enjoyed working with Shashi Kapoor and Saeed Jafferey. “It was my best movie”, Brosnan said.

Pierce Brosnan also plans to shoot his next film in India.
