Beatles Guitar up for sale

A guitar used by Beatles legends George Harrison and John Lennon will be put on auction at Christie’s on December 17, in New York.

According to the BBC, the Gibson SG guitar is expected to fetch up to 270,000 pounds at the auction. Altogether there are 70 lots of Beatles memorabilia in the sale including a union agreement signed by the Beatles before their legendary performance on the Ed Sullivan show.

Other items in the sale include a Jimi Hendrix school yearbook and a biology test completed by Buddy Holly.
