Oasis - Champagne Supernova - To Feature On The O.C.

Oasis’s song is to be featured on an American TV show the O.C. This will give the band the much needed popularity boost in the States.

Their song ‘Champagne Supernova’ will be featured on the programme, reports Ananova, on its forthcoming season finale.

However, the track used will not be the Oasis original. An American band, Matt Pond PA have covered the song, and it is their version that will feature on The O.C.

When Oasis released the track in the US in 1996 it topped the Billboard Modern Tracks chart for five weeks.

Oasis’ new album is scheduled to be released on May 16 and has a working title of ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’.
