Brian McKnight to sing for Tsunami Benefit
A new single is being compiled by Brian McKnight, Nate Dogg and Mya, with some help from various rock acts. All the profits will be donated for the benefit of Tsunami relief effort.
“Forever in Our Hearts,” the majority of which was recorded on Sunday at Los Angeles’ NRG Studios, was spearheaded by Godhead frontman Jason Miller, who wrote the song as a tribute to the victims.
Other acts on the record include Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix and Sonny Sandoval of Christian rock group P.O.D.
The song will be released via Apple’s iTunes music store upon completion, with proceeds going to Linkin Park’s tsunami charity Music For Relief. A music video constructed of footage from the recording sessions is also being assembled.
