Page 3 to be released by Sahara One

Besides the encouraging response to its music, Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Page Three” has added another feather in its cap.

Sahara One, the joint venture between Percept and Sahara, has acquired the film for marketing and distribution at a promising price, reports Bollywood Trade.

“I wouldn’t like to comment on the price but it is definitely a good deal. The Sahara One people saw the film and took the decision to acquire it soon after,” reveals Bhandarkar, adding that the team at Sahara One has some unique pre-release plans for the film.

He and Bobby Pushkarna, the producer of the film, are said to be planning special previews of the film for journalists all over India to gauge their response.

“This is in keeping with the film’s subject revolving around the glitterati as perceived through the eyes of a page three journalist, Madhavi Sharma, played by Konkana Sensharma,” says Bhandarkar.
