A celebrity scholarship party in Jacksonville sponsored by the Black Family Channel on Feb. 5. This party is going to be attend by the famous Janet Jackson. The party is open to the public and tickets will go on sale soon.

As Janet is not that popular with the NFL because of her split-second, breast-baring incident at the hand of duet partner Justin Timberlake that was witnessed by some 90 million TV viewers, resulted in USD 550,000 in FCC fines against CBS affiliates and touched an unprecedented period of censorship and national hand-wringing. This is not going to be sponsored by them.

Short of bringing back Up with People for this year’s halftime festivities, Fox and the NFL have settled on Paul McCartney to headline the Ameriquest Mortgage Super Bowl XXXIX Halftime Show. (Although the former Cute Beatle has joked–we hope–about mocking Janet with a little nipple action of his own this year. At the very least, McCartney will reveal a list of fall tour dates Feb. 6, per Billboard magazine.)
