Ringo Starr a Superhero
Ringo Starr a Superhero
Ringo Starr has joined forces with the famous Stan Lee to make an animated superhero of himself in a DVD. Stan Lee is known for his famous creations like Spider-Man, the X-Men and the Hulk. Ringo Starr a former beetle is also not new to this field.
Animated. Ringo appeared in the ABC series ‘The Beatles’ from 1965-1967, and again in the 1968 film ‘Yellow Submarine’, but neither time did he voice the characters. In the “superhero project” Starr will voice his character, just as he did when he appeared on ‘The Simpsons’ in 1991. And though he wasn’t in animated form, who could forget Starr’s classic turn as Mr. Conductor in the children’s television series ‘Shining Time Station’.
Ringo’s also going to be contributing his voice and some original song for this project along with his name and image. Although he wasn’t looking for a gig as a superhero, but who could refuse Stan Lee. Starr explained: “he had this idea of a musical superhero - what I like to think of as a reluctant superhero… I’ll zoom in to save the world, or a damsel in distress, or a small village. Who knows where he’ll go?”
