Triple Joy For ‘Swades’ And Gowariker

The month of March has brought triple joy to Ashutosh Gowariker’s 22 crore Shah Rukh Khan starrer starrer ‘Swades’.

Earlier this month , the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival opened on 10th March with the screening of Alice Wu’s ‘Saving Face’ and ‘Swades’ was also screened at the fete and it received good responces.

The film also won in many categories at the recent ‘Zee Cine Awards’ and Ashutosh, who is also the producer and director of ‘Swades’, won the critics award for best director.

There is also news that Zee has acquired the satellite rights for Swades for 5 crores, which is a a pretty good price.
