Farhan Akthar to cast Shah Rukh in remake of Don

Reember some time back we broke the news that Farhan Akthar is planning a film with Shah Rukh Khan. Yes the rumors were true. Farhan is indeed working on the script of a film that may star Shah Rukh and the King Khan has given a nod to the script as well.

And trust Farhan to do the un-imaginable; after having made a film on today’s youth (Dil Chahta Hai) and Army (Lakshya) he is going to remake the 70’s blockbuster ‘Don’ which starred Big B and Zeenat Aman among others. Indecently the script of ‘Don’ was written by Farhan’s father - Javed Akthar.

After having tasted success with Dil Chahta Hai (with Aamir Khan) and a failure in Lakshya (with Hrithik) this will be Farhan’s third thrust with direction and if the project goes through Farhan will be among the luckiest of Bollywood directors to have worked with biggest of stars of our times (i.e. Shah Rukh, Aamir and Hrithik).
