80 elephants and 100 horses on the sets of Jodha-Akbar

The movie made by Ashutosh Gowarikar needed a huge set and the story of Jodha Akbar required the movie maker to show the grandeurs attached to the Mughal Empire and so the director called 80 elephants and 100 horses during the shoot of the movie on the sets. The director must have gained good experience with these animals.
