80th Oscars were truly international

The 80th annual Academy Awards were mostly bagged by foreign candidates and this was attributed to the fact that more than 50% of the revenue generated by the Hollywood movies was from overseas. The Oscars was unconventional this time as the top Oscar awards for the best movie was bagged by brothers from Minnesota who never made a big movie earlier.
Best actor award was given to Daniel Day-Lewis who lives in Ireland, Best actress was French, Best supporting actor was Spanish and best supporting actress is Scottish. Many other awards like for Best art direction, Best costumes, best animated short movie etc. were bagged by international artists.
