Bollywood star Aamir khan is set to marry his friend and lady love - the assistant director of the Oscar-nominated film Lagaan, Kiran Rao on New Year day in 2006.

The couple plans to get married in Panchgani, about 98 kms from Pune, 266 kms from Mumbai via Mahad. The beautiful hill station is situated at an altitude of 1334 m and Amir Khan has booked an entire hotel for the marriage schedule on January 1, 2006.

It will be a very quiet wedding, and will be attended by family members from both sides. Aamir who recently got a divorce from his wife of over a decade, Reena has two children from her.
