Akshay increases remuneration

Akshay has proved time and again that he is a bankable actor. After the success of Khakhee, ‘Waqt -The Race Against Time’ and Mujhsay Shaadi Karoogi Akshay has upped his price.

He was reportedly paid Rs. 10 million for each film before ‘Waqt’. But now, he has increased his remuneration to Rs. 40 million for playing the lead role in one Bollywood movie.

If producers agree to pay Akshay the kind of package he is demanding he would soon join the elite club of Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan.
