Amisha: 2004 was a rough patch

Amisha Patel didn’t have a great 2004 personally and professionally. It was a year in which she fell out with her parents and she hardly had any releases.

Talking to a leading newspaper Amisha says that she went through lots of ups and downs in the year 2004, which has been a milestone in her life.

Amisha in August 2004 had served a legal notice to her parents Amit and Asha Patel, on the charges of embezzling her money and allegedly making her stay in a dilapidated house in Mumbai’s post suburb Bandra.

But Amisha adds that the trauma has made her a pillar of strength today.

On appearing in the Adnan Sami video, Amisha says that she has always been a fan of Adnan’s music. She has enjoyed his previous songs too.

Amisha says playing the role of a ballet dancer, unlike an Indian heroine, was like bringing out another facet of what she is capable of. She also took salsa classes for the video.

Looking ahead to the New Year Amisha says she has lots of films lined for up for release - Elaan, Vaada, Humko Tumse Pyar Hai and The Rising .

The year 2004 was quite uneventful for Amisha with no releases, but with these good releases, 2005 will be quite eventful for her.
