There were many other Samanta’s films like “Aradhana”, “Amanush” and “Kati Patang “ that could have been made in animation but initially only three films have been selected for animation. Nandy said that animation movies are getting viewed by audience and hence the production company is investing towards making the animation movies of Indian classics. Since animation films do not require investment towards having highly paid actors and actresses and investment on shoot locations, the movies are generally low cost ventures that gain huge profits on the box office, if they are accepted by audience.
