Antar Mahal at Locarno

Rituparno Ghosh’s Antar Mahal has been selected in the ‘competition section’ of the 58th Locarno International Film Festival. Screening his films on International platform is not new for this talented filmmaker, as his previous Choker Bali was selected for Locarno last year besides 17 other film festivals.

“It is an Indianised film with Universal appeal,” says Ghosh about Antar Mahal. “Locarno is a perfect platform for showcasing Indian films globally as Indian films are very well treated here,” he adds.

Antar Mahal is a bilingual starring Abhishek Bachchan, Soha Ali Khan, Jackie Shroff and Raima Sen.
