Ashok Amritraj searching for an actress to play Bo Derek

After watching bollywood films that were inspired from Hollywood films, another trend has started and that is to make a remake of a Hollywood film after legally buying the rights of the film .The famous Indian Hollywood producer Ashok Amritraj announced that he will be making the remake of the Hollywood film “Ten”.

To play the character of the lead in the film “Ten”, that is Bo Derek, the director is talking to many bollywood and Hollywood actresses .The role needs the actress to be a sex symbol .The Hollywood film was released in 1979 and Bo was shown coming out of the ocean in golden bikini. The scene had instant appeal and it was the best scene of the film that attracted audiences to theatres.

The audience who watched the 79 movie still remembers Bo for the scene and hence Ashok Amritraj is preparing to shoot such scenes in the remake as well. Bo has been associated to Hindi movies and she appeared in Ayesha Shroff’s film “Boom” opposite Amitabh Bachchan but she was not much popular with Indian audience although she was presented in a golden saree in the film.

Ashok Amritraj has announced that he will be making the remake of the film “Ten” in a grand way and he is even prepared to invest a huge amount towards the making of the film. The director refused to tell the names of the bollywood and Hollywood actresses with whom he is talking as the talks are in initial stage but Amritraj will be announcing the actress name soon for the remake of his Hollywood film.
