Director Mohit Suri is happy about the success of latest release Kalyug and without wasting his time he working towards giving more such hits to his fans.

Mohit Suri signed an 18 old Kangna Ranaut, to play the role of Parveen Babi in ‘Awaarapan‘ (earlier titled Actress). This Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt project is based on the life story of famous Bollywood actress Parveen Babi. The film is expected to roll in February next year and it will be shot in Mumbai, Goa, London and Dubai.

If people will remember, Parveen Babi lonely end has provoked many to say that her torrid affair with Mahesh Bhatt and its subsequent portrayal in ‘Arth’ (Mahesh Bhatt) by Smita Patil, made her turn a recluse.

Well! Suri says that he wants to tell it through ‘Awaarapan’ that contrary to the belief that Mahesh Bhatt said goodbye to Parveen Babi when she started to lose her sanity, it was Babi who asked Bhatt to go away from her life. “Babi knew she was heading towards destruction,” says the ‘Zeher’ director.

At first Bhatts had almost finalized Emraan Hashmi to portray the role of Mahesh Bhatt in the film but since Emraan is already busy in many films and with everyone appreciating Kalyug boy Kunal Khemu, it is very much anticipated that he will win this role.
