Deepa Mehta is getting accolades for her film Water in whichever film festival it has been screened. Now the experienced director has already started working for her next international venture and wants Amitabh Bachchan in it.

If things will go as she has planned we might get to see Amitabh in a very strong, performance oriented role. Although Big B has not yet said yes to Mehta, she must be keeping her fingers crossed.

Mehta has already signed up British actor Terence Stamp for it.
