Nice talk doesn’t always translate into action

Though Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra had nice things to say about each other while in town recently, they never came together in one frame and gave the impression that they were avoiding each other.

Bipasha, the first of the two to arrive, say about Priyanka: “We had a great time working together. Priyanka’s work speaks for itself. I am very excited because we have been cast together; there is newness in terms of film chemistry.”

Bipasha, it may be recalled, was a judge at the Miss India pageant when Priyanka won a crown. “There was a spark in her at the pageant that was visible to all. She has come a long way”

Priyanka couldn’t be there for a joint session with Bipasha because her flight had reportedly been delayed. But when it was time for her to arrive, it was also time for Bipasha to leave.

“I have other commitments and have to rush,” is how Bipasha put it.

Minutes after Bipasha’s departure, Priyanka made an entry and got down to waxing eloquent about Bipasha. “We’ve known each other for some time as both of us have a modelling background. Bipasha is a wonderful person to work with. She is sincere in whatever she does. What I like best is her honesty.”
