Bollywood’s rising star Anuraag Basu

Anuraag Basu was the name used by the Ekta’s serial Kasauti Zindgi Ki for her top male lead and since so many years after the serial got telecasted on the star channel, the story is revolving around the name itself though this name does not belong to any of the cast of the serial but this name is also growing in Bollywood for again something new and realistic just like Madhur Bhandarkar.

The last news about the talented director Anuraag Basu is that he is working in a movie called “Suicide Bomber” that will have Mahesh Bhatt’s son in the lead role. Anurrag has been making TV serials and movies taking new faces and this time again a new face will be enlightened by the director who says that he likes to bring out the acting talent from a person new to the Industry.

Anuraag Basu is knopwn for his discovery of actress Kagana Ranaut in a Cafe for his movie Gangster and he had called her to get signed for the movie Gangster. Kangana said that it was her curly hairs that were open when Anuraag saw her and it attracted the director to call her to do the movie. After the movies Gangster and Life in a Metro Kaagana is getting praised from all the section of Bollywood and audiences and even Madhuri Dixit praised her mature talents.

As per Anuraag the movie Metro depicted his experiences of love in life and a part of story in the movie matched what he had seen himself in life. Anuraag Basu has made movies for Mahesh Bhatt productions and other productions houses and is planning to come up with his own production house.

Anuraag stressed that Rahul Bhatt who is son of one of the best directors of India is performing in the movie Suicide Bomber because the script matched his character and it is not for Mahesh Bhatt wanting him to be taken in a movie though Rahul Bhatt was suggested for the male lead roles of the movies Gangster and Murder but the characters did not match Rahul’s image and he was refused. Mahesh Bhatt is himself writing the script of the movie Suicide Bomber.
