Bollywood changes trend of celebrating Republic Day

The Republic Day has been special for all the Indians and Bollywood has been in many ways enhancing the patriotic feeling of people of India all over the globe. The last year movie like Chak De India has been one of the movies that had its place in every function celebrating India in many parts of the world and has been inspiring people to be a part of the country through their own field of work.

There has been a list of movies and songs that have their places in the Independence Day celebrations and Republic Day celebrations. These Bollywood songs were repeatedly played in the functions all over India on the day of National importance but in the last few years a few movies have changed the way Independence and Republic days are celebrated in the country.

Earlier the movie songs like Aye Mee Watan Ke Logon, Mere Desh Ki Dharti or Saare Jehaan Se Accha were the prominent songs in the celebrations of the day of national importance.

In the last few years had Rahman’s songs are getting adopted in these celebrations like the new Wande Matram and songs of the movie Chak de India (title song), Rang De Basanti (Title Song).

The celebrations before 50 years of Independence were based on the fight of war of Independence and now the patriotic inspirational songs are mostly about the growth of the country. The country is developing and is getting recognition for its human assets and knowledge all over the world and the patriotic songs for the current generation are mostly about how the country is emerging as a power in every field, be it technology, power or sport.

The associations of the top tars like Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan to these patriotic movies Chak de India, Rang De Basanti has made the movies get more recognition even outside India and have made these actors occupy a place in the National arena.
