Bollywood Singers record for tsunami welfare

Imagine a dozen singers coming together for a single song written by veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar.

We are not talking about a Yash Chopra movie. Singers from Bollywood have decided to do their bit for tsunami victims.

Singers Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sapna Mukherjee and Sadhna Sargam are likely to wield the microphone for the tsunami song.

The song will be composed by Jatin-Lalit and is all about a positive approach to life. It’s actually an appeal. They want people to hear it and lend a helping hand.
