Bollywood, the word was used by the media for its convenience and it is disliked by the many Indian actors and a few media people. These people are those who have ever worked in Hollywood, as the word itself is laughed upon in the west.

But the Hollywood movies can never get the huge reach of Hindi cinema. Mainstream Hindi films have good box office collections that go between Rs 30 and Rs 50 crore.

Indian audience watches the Hollywood movies because they are open to all kinds of entertainment and new concepts.
