Bunty Aur Bubbly in Trouble

Trouble seems to be following Rani Mukherji. Barely has she warded off marriage rumours with Govinda, its the colour of her dress that has got not only her but andacute;Bunty Aur Bubblyandacute; into trouble . The Kranti Shiv Sena in Varanasi has objected to her saffron coloured dress in the movie .

Meanwhile director Shaad Ali has been trying to expalin that the saffron coloured dress that Rani wears has nothing that will hurt the religious sentiments of any community.

Later protests were raised to delete a portion of the movie shot in an Akhada. Reportidily women are not allowed inside akadas in Varanasi; but Shaad Ali went and filmed a particular scene featuring Rani Mukherji there. Shiv Shainiks threatened to disrupt the shooting or burn the theaters which showed the scene if the portion of the movie was not removed.

Last heard the shooting on this Yash Chopra movie was going on amid tight security in Varanasi.
