Controversial couples of year 2007

The Bollywood gossip columns in the year 2007 were filled with some of the most controversial couples of the year.

The most prominent couple that was talked throughout the year has been Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Kareena Kapoor had been in relation with Shahid Kapoor from some 3 to 4 years and the two were expected to be stable couple in Bollywood but the couple broke off in the September month of the year 2007 and the movie Jab We Met that starred the two stars together was released in October .The break in relations did not effect the movie performance at the box –office and the movie fared really well.

The second couple in news was the Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan .The two acted together in movie Umrao Jaan and Guru and they were in news for getting engaged and in April finally the two got married. The couple was also in news for visiting pilgrims and performing rituals all over the years.

The third couple in news had been Rani Mukharjee and Aditya Chopra who were suspected by the media to be marrying in the initial months of the year 2008.Both have been denying their relations and news about the Roka ceremony that was suspected to have held in April and is followed by marriage.

The fourth couple in news was Sanjay Dutt and Manyata. Sanjay Dutt has been with his lady at many parties and ceremonies but the two are not talking about their marriage. By the time Sanjay Dutt has been in and out of jail and Manyata had been staying in his house. The two also went to pilgrimages together.

The fifth controversial couple in the year was Salman Khan and Katerina Kaif. Katerina has been denying that she is getting movies through Salman and Salman is not talking about any future marriage taking place in the relation.

Other than these prominent couples of Bollywood John Abraham and Bipasha Basu were in news for getting along together and also for clashes. Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor were also in news to being together but the two debutant of the movie Saawariya have a long way to go in Bollywood to finally settle down into a relation. The debutant of Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone was also in news for getting associated to Indian team cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
