Court refuses shifting of Spears Case from California

The judge in the Britney Spears case denied a shift of the case from the California court. The federal judge Philip Gutierrez said that the papers are inadequate to prove that the case need to be moved from state court and the case may not be shifted before Feb. 29.

Pop star Britney Spears had been admitted to the psychiatric ward in the last month and a temporary control over her business had been awarded to her father, Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet, by the court.
