The Da Vinci Code is about Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) who receives a phone call while in Paris on business.

The curator of the Louvre has been murdered. Near the body, police have found a baffling cipher. Langdon discovers that it leads to a trail of clues hidden in the works of Da Vinci.

Langdon joins forces with French cryptologist, Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou), and learns the late curator was involved in the Priory of Sion, a secret society.
