Danny Deckchair’s director to shoot Maid of Dishonor

Director Jeff Balsmeyer or Jeffrey Balsmeyer, who helmed the romantic comedy “Danny Deckchair” for Lions Gate last year, has been hired by Warner Brothers Pictures to helm their romantic comedy “Maid of Dishonor”.

Scripted by Cristi Limm, the movie is about Mere months after being left at the altar, a woman who no longer believes in romance must return home to be the maid of honor for her sister’s wedding.

The project is produced by Denise DiNovi, who also produced the upcoming “The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants” and “Lucky You,” starring Drew Barrymore, both for Warners.
