The celebration of 61st Indian independence will be marked by the 28th India Day Parade in New York and the debutant actress Deepika Padukone has been given the opportunity to lead the parade as grand marshal that will be held on August 17 .Last year Priyanka Chopra was the grand marshal and Sunita Williams the guest of honor.
