Dhawan plans to remake Amar Akbar Anthony

Remakes are the flavour of the season. After ‘Don’ (Farhan Akhtar) and ‘Sholay’ (Ram Gopal Varma), it’s going to be ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ (David Dhawan).

David Dhawan is an established Bollywood filmmaker whose comedy movies are eagerly awaited by cine lovers. ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ made by him is commercially successful at the box office.

Dhawan says that unlike Ramu, he will make his film with established stars. “Amar Akbar Anthony’ is the film I have liked the most till date,” he says.

Meanwhile Dhawan is busy compiling reports of his latest release ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’ which apprently is running packed shows across India.
